I am a clothing designer from Finland who has a passion for creating historical clothing with a gothic twist. My designs are often adorned with dark shades and colors, as well as corsets, laces, and ruffles. I find inspiration in the macabre, with a particular love for skulls and the intricate details of Rococo and 18th-century clothing.
There are moments when I hate designing, when the pressure to create something new and unique feels overwhelming. But despite the hardships, I know that I got love for creating beautiful and intricate designs will always prevail.
I have faced fair share of trouble along my journey. I’m struggling to make a name for my self in the highly competitive world of fashion, facing countless rejections and disappointments.
One day, I was flipping through an old book of gothic literature, I stumbled upon a quotation from Edgar Allan Poe that speaks to my soul. It reads: “All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.” For me, this quote encapsulates the essence of the art. My designs are more than just fabric and thread – they are dreams brought to life, a manifestation of the beauty and darkness that exist within imagination.
With renewed vigor and inspiration, I’m continuing to create my designs, pouring my heart and soul into each and every piece. My love for historical clothing and gothic fashion only grows stronger, and soon, I might attract a following of like-minded individuals who appreciate the intricate details and dark elegance of my work.
Designing is a painful process which requires a lot of wine and metal music.
